This position plays a critical role in ensuring construction projects meet quality standards, remain on schedule, and are completed in accordance with design specifications.
The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between clients, contractors, and internal project teams—representing the owner’s interests throughout the construction process.
The Construction Services Coordinator provides on-site oversight and documentation for active construction projects, verifying compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards. This role requires the ability to interpret construction drawings, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and monitor contractor performance to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide field oversight for construction projects, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
Maintain accurate daily logs of construction activities, progress, and observations.
Conduct on-site inspections and review general construction work, including foundations, grading, parking lots, athletic facilities, educational buildings, utilities, and site infrastructure.
Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, engineers, and public agencies, facilitating clear communication and efficient project execution.
Attend and document project meetings and assist with coordination between project stakeholders.
Review plans, specifications, and reports; perform site investigations and inspections as needed.
Ensure contractor adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality control requirements.
Support the resolution of construction-related issues by communicating with project managers and stakeholders.
Promote a professional, safety-focused, and client-oriented culture on all job sites.
Perform additional duties and reporting tasks as assigned by management.
Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1–3 years of experience in construction administration, field inspection, or project coordination.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Strong documentation and reporting skills; attention to accuracy and detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and/or Bluebeam software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with contractors, clients, and management.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required.
Strong customer service orientation and a professional demeanor.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
