Techline Search is seeking a qualified Electrician for a temporary contract with a reputable client in the [insert sector, e.g. commercial, industrial, facilities] sector. This hands-on role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.
Interpret and work from electrical drawings and technical specifications.
Test and inspect systems using appropriate equipment.
Identify and resolve faults in a safe and timely manner.
Ensure all work meets current IET Wiring Regulations and H&S standards.
Complete job reports and maintain accurate service records.
Work independently or as part of a team on site-based assignments.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
ECS/JIB Card (or equivalent industry certification).
Proven experience in a similar role (construction, facilities, or industrial preferred).
Strong understanding of health and safety standards.
Full UK driving licence (if mobile role).
Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
PASMA/IPAF or Working at Heights certification.
Experience in temporary site power or reactive maintenance.
