- Fixed day shift – 06:00 AM start

Duties of the Class 1 Driver:
- Operating a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle for haulage and trunking work
- Carrying out 2–4 drops or collections per shift, depending on volume
- Transporting goods between hubs, depots, and commercial clients across the region
- Ensuring all delivery and collection paperwork is completed accurately
- Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Using pump trucks where necessary to assist with loading/unloading
- Maintaining legal compliance with driver hours and working time regulations
- Representing the company professionally with clients and other road users
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any maintenance needs
- Working independently while supporting a high standard of service, safety, and punctuality
Additional Information for the Class 1 Driver:
- Start time: 06:00 AM
- Pay £17 per hour, or £18.40 per hour (holiday rolled up)
- Monday to Friday
- Temporary to permanent opportunities available
- Part-time and ad-hoc shifts also offered
- Manual handling may be required (up to 25kg)
- Pump truck use may be involved
