MiFli Travel Recruitment is partnering with a leading travel and touring company to hire a knowledgeable and engaging Historical Travel Guide. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct guided historical tours that are accurate, engaging, and tailored to diverse audiences. Share stories, facts, and insights about the area’s history, landmarks, and cultural context. Answer questions, manage group logistics, and ensure guest safety and satisfaction. Adapt to unexpected situations (weather, timing, group dynamics) with professionalism. Stay informed on local history, new research, and relevant cultural updates.

Minimum Requirements:
Strong knowledge or passion for history and cultural heritage. Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills. Comfortable leading groups and walking for extended periods, often outdoors. Ability to adapt to various group sizes, demographics, and needs. Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic. Fluency in English (additional languages a plus). First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in guiding, tourism, education, or museum work. Degree or background in History, Archaeology, Education, or Tourism. Strong storytelling abilities and the ability to connect with international audiences. Bilingual or multilingual speakers are highly encouraged to apply.
