Retail Assistant
Location: Cape Winelands

Generous Basic plus commission

A luxury retail store is seeking a well-presented and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience and driving sales through outstanding service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain control of stock in your area of responsibility.
• Greet customers and provide attentive, professional service.
• Assist clients in selecting products and offer styling advice suited to their preferences and body type.
• Process cash and card payments accurately.
• Stock and merchandise displays to company standards.
• Report any stock discrepancies or issues to management.
• Balance the cash register and reconcile daily sales.
• Handle customer refunds and resolve complaints professionally.
• Maintain a neat and organized store environment.
• Work within brand guidelines and uphold visual standards.
• Attach price tags and assist with stock deliveries and storage.

Requirements:
• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a Retail Assistant, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Strong administrative and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and a passion for customer service.
• Professional appearance and confident working with high-profile clientele.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure.
• Fluent in English (Afrikaans advantageous).
