Job Description

NSEW Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading organization in the engineering and manufacturing sector to recruit a talented Manufacturing Process Engineer. This role involves driving continuous improvement, optimizing production processes, and supporting the execution of departmental operations. The successful candidate will apply technical expertise to enhance product quality, efficiency, and output while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define, control, and optimize production processes, including the design, selection, and validation of tooling and equipment.

  • Collaborate with design and operations teams to ensure new products, tools, and equipment are properly integrated into manufacturing operations.

  • Lead or support teams in achieving production and quality objectives through process improvements and technical problem-solving.

  • Utilize technical knowledge and analytical skills to implement strategies and support business goals.

  • Apply best practices and benchmark standards to enhance manufacturing performance and competitiveness.

  • Exercise sound judgment to develop solutions outside of set parameters when faced with complex technical or production challenges.

  • Act as a mentor or resource for junior engineers, providing guidance and sharing technical expertise.

  • Manage small projects or initiatives with low to moderate risk and resource requirements.

  • Support staffing, training, and performance development within the department, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • Significant hands-on experience in manufacturing or production engineering, including familiarity with laser welding or similar advanced manufacturing processes.

  • Proven experience in process validation, equipment qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
