We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our engineering and design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and analysis of ships, boats, and other marine vessels, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and meet regulatory standards.
Design and develop vessel structures, hulls, and systems.
Conduct hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, and structural analysis.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models.
Collaborate with marine engineers, shipyards, and classification societies.
Ensure compliance with international maritime safety regulations.
Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations of new designs.
Provide technical guidance during construction and sea trials.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in vessel design and analysis.
Strong knowledge of marine materials, hydrodynamics, and structural mechanics.
Proficiency in CAD and naval architecture software (e.g., Rhino, AutoCAD, Orca3D, Maxsurf).
Familiarity with IMO and SOLAS regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification.
Experience with shipyard construction projects.
Knowledge of sustainable/green ship design technologies.
