Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the labor and delivery unit, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
• Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with best practices in maternal and neonatal care.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
• Monitor patient outcomes, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• BSN is required, and MSN or a master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• National Specialty Certification or a plan to achieve it within 1 year of hire.
• BLS and ACLS certificates are required.
