Nexa Talent is proud to be recruiting for a leading name in catering and hospitality, seeking a dynamic Safety Manager to join their national Safety & Wellbeing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced health and safety professional with a passion for large-scale events, stadiums, and high-risk catering environments.
In this role, you will act as a safety ambassador — driving high standards, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and industry regulations (including SGSA), and shaping a strong safety culture across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support safety efforts at major events and venues across Scotland
Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and SGSA regulations
Prepare matchday/event safety documentation and risk assessments
Deliver training and support to teams across multiple locations
Monitor, report on, and improve health and food safety standards
Investigate incidents, lead audits, and ensure proper documentation
Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to implement safety strategies
Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and behaviours
Influence teams to embed best practices and support a strong safety-first culture
What You Bring:
Proven experience managing safety for large-scale venues or stadiums
Strong background in food safety, H&S risk management, and compliance
NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
Confident communicator with training and audit experience
Ability to travel frequently and work independently
Highly organised, proactive, and able to lead by example
IT literate with excellent documentation and reporting skills
