Job Description

Full-Time | Heavy Travel (Field-Based Role)

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned Territory Manager who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, and growing business from the ground up. You’ll take ownership of a developing territory while also nurturing a core group of existing customers—working independently, influencing growth, and serving as the face of the company in your market.

If you thrive on autonomy, travel, and relationship-driven sales, this role offers variety, visibility, and long-term growth potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow an assigned territory by adding new accounts and expanding product penetration

  • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers through regular in-person visits

  • Spend the majority of your week in the field (4 days/week), with dedicated office time for planning and coordination

  • Manage customer inquiries related to orders, pricing, delivery, and issue resolution

  • Maintain accurate customer records, including pricing and account updates

  • Introduce new products and share industry trends and insights with customers

  • Work closely with brokers, distributors, and independently owned distributors

  • Address customer concerns related to pricing, delivery, and accounting

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and training sessions as needed

  • Provide regular activity updates, reports, and insights to internal teams and leadership

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and territory success

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, territory management, or account management

  • Proven success working with distributors, brokers, and independent distributors

  • Comfort managing a large product portfolio (500+ SKUs over time)

  • Willingness to travel 90% of the time, with approximately 70% overnight travel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presentations

  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive with the ability to work independently

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, or similar tools preferred (not required)

  • Strong territory planning, prioritization, and relationship-management skills

Work Style & Travel

  • Field-based role with extensive regional travel

  • Approximately 4 days per week in the field

  • Overnight travel required
