Seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor & Delivery RN to join a low-volume birthing center (<100 births/month) with LDRP model. Must be comfortable floating and working every other weekend. Epic experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable.
Start Date: October 27, 2025
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift | 3×12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Qualifications
- Active RN license in state of practice
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
- Previous travel experience preferred (strong first-time travelers may be considered)
- Epic charting experience within the past 2 years (required)
- BLS and NRP certifications (required)
- Willingness to float as needed
- Available for every other weekend coverage
Required Skills
- IV therapy, phlebotomy, infusion pump management
- Neonatal care: APGAR scoring, radiant warmers, newborn assessment
- Antepartum care: sterile speculum exams, vaginal exams, triage
- Labor & delivery: C-section circulation/recovery, pain management, epidural support
- Postpartum care: fundus/lochia/perineum care, Foley management, discharge teaching
- Newborn care: cord care, circumcision teaching, infant ID
- Fetal monitoring: external monitoring, abnormal FHR recognition
- Isolation precautions, PPE use, vaccine administration
- Central line maintenance (CVC/PICC), blood product administration
