Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily operations of the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring efficient, safe, and compassionate patient care.
• Assist in staff supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Support unit-based quality improvement and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide clinical support, resource guidance, and leadership during shifts.
• Monitor compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Participate in staff education and training initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a PCU or acute care setting.
• Previous leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
